Just Like Heaven - Julia Quinn Not as bad as Ten Things, but still nowhere near the JQ I loved. I guess I'm done hoping for a Julia Quinn book to move me as much as The Viscount Who Loved Me. This one had bland characters, inconsistent characterization, and long boring sections that had me skimming repeatedly.

The writing, especially at the beginning, is far more about style than substance. More concerned with cute than heart. I love the light historical style that Julia Quinn introduced, but this is almost a parody of her books. So without heart and emotion that I can't bring myself to call it a romance novel.
